North Stafford Hotel Stoke-on-Trent, Stoke-on-Trent

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, right across from the train station, making it convenient for travelers. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Eva the bar maid and the night manager. However, the room I was in was less than ideal, with issues like being next to a noisy kitchen outlet fan and a humming electrical cupboard. The dining experience was subpar, with dishes being cleared away too early and some staff displaying rude behavior.

The hotel was not quite what I expected. The room was a good size but lacked some basic amenities like chairs and a decent TV. The temperature control was tricky, forcing me to get an electric heater. The hotel did not match the pictures online, but it could be suitable for couples on a budget.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right across from the railway station, making it convenient for rail travelers. However, the rooms were a bit dated and showed signs of aging, with some issues like heating not working properly. The service was lacking, with unaddressed issues and rude staff members. The dining experience was basic and didn't meet expectations. Despite these drawbacks, the proximity to the railway station is a notable advantage.

The hotel had clean and well-presented rooms; however, my experience was marred by strange sounds and gusts of cold air, almost like a haunted room. The morning after, the rooms were in horrid condition, not very clean. The front desk staff couldn't locate my booking and were unhelpful. I would not recommend this hotel.
